Following the great reception of his artist album ‘Immortal Changes’ on Systematic, the new Remote Kiss EP is the latest offering from Colgne, Germany’s Robert Babicz. Released today on Beatport via his new label Babiczstyle, and on the 19th of July on vinyl, the release is already receiving support and plays from the likes of Sasha and Jody Wisternoff and more.
The EP starts off with the title track, Remote Kiss, a quite dark affair with a real techno edge to it and the 4/4 beat pumping throughout. The Sun is a more progressive exciting track, with a nice rolling pace, some excellent synth work and deep basslines, this is defiantly the pick of the bunch. Simple Feeling brings the entire EP to a close on a strictly tech house feel, with some nice percussion and some rough sounding hats that brings an almost jazzyness to the entire thing. Add to this some nice synth and chord work and brilliant progression throughout, it brings the release to and end in an almost relaxing manner. All in all Robert Babicz has really delivered for the debut EP on his new label, delivering summer evening vibes with a beat that will keep you going at any point day or night.
The title track Remote Kiss is available as a free download in the player below, and make sure you cop the digital release from Beatport or grab the wax from the 19th of July.
