New Bristol promotion outfit FiftyOne TwentySeven have recently launched to huge success, with their debut night at Thekla packing out the club.

Grizzly & Local Action (Sinden & Tom Lea’s labels, respectively) have teamed up for a release which is being offered out as a free download. Taking 2 leading figures from each label and getting them to remix tracks from each others latest EP’s.

Recent Bass Ache interviewee Melé dropped this special mash up blend of Lethal Bizzle’s ‘Pow 2011′ riddim today. Pure grime badness with big switch ups and massive bass-lines. Even Joe’s ‘Claptrap‘ makes a brief appearance.

One of Britain’s rising bass music stars, Merseyside’s Melé took time out of his busy gigging and production schedule to answer a few questions for us and give us an insight into what has been a very fast rise of one of the most promising new producers in the last year.
